These groups are an integral part of our Westlake ethos. Organising regular competitions for different levels and groups of players.

Ladies Golf

The Westlake Ladies section is a vibrant and active group. Official competitions take place on Tuesday afternoons, with additional games on Thursday mornings (Early Birdies) and Saturday mornings (weekend competition).

Our Ladies compete in the Women’s Golf Western Province leagues (January–October) and are represented by the Lady Captain on the Main Committee, supported by a Ladies committee. Success is driven by dedicated members and generous sponsorships.

Key annual events include the Westlake Ladies Open in September, attracting players from across the Western Cape. The Ladies also support charity events and Mixed Open events on Sunday afternoons, which are well-attended.

Westlake Golf Club welcomes new Lady members and offers an introductory programme for beginners.

Westlake Aged Golfers Society (WAGS)

WAGS is a vibrant senior group at Westlake Golf Club, hosting competitions Tuesday mornings. As an autonomous section, they organize their own events, managed by three elected members.

Membership is open to Westlake Golf Club members aged 55+, but guests are welcome with prior approval.
